The Provisional Program is a twelve-month introduction to the club for candidates who want to know Brookside properly before making a permanent commitment, and who want the club to know them.
Participation is limited to twenty.

The Brookside Standard
Provisional participants are not held to a lower standard. Every candidate completes Brookside’s full application and review process, including sponsors, references, the posting period, confidential Membership Committee review and Board approval, before entering the program.
The initiation fee is deferred during the program. It is not discounted and it is not waived. Participants do not vote during the introductory period.
At the End of Twelve Months
Brookside meets with each participant to discuss continuing as a permanent member. Permanent membership remains subject to formal Board review and approval and completion of all applicable membership and financial requirements.
A member who sponsors a provisional participant receives a dues credit. The Membership Office can explain the terms.
