What National Golf Does Not Include
National Golf is a golf and clubhouse membership. It does not include the fitness center, the pool or the racquets courts. We say that plainly here rather than leave anyone to work it out later.
Eligibility
Membership in good standing at another private golf club is required. Distance is calculated by driving distance from Brookside using the applicant’s primary residence. Applicants must not have been Brookside members within the previous two years.
National Golf is a non-voting membership. Governance rests with the members for whom Brookside is a primary club, which is the same principle that protects tee time access for resident members.
A Destination Worth the Visit
There are not many intact Donald Ross courses from his prime years left, and fewer still you can play fifteen times a season.
Bring three friends on a Tuesday. Play the course Ross drew, take lunch in a clubhouse that has stood since 1922, and make the drive again in a month.
Come for the golf. Stay for the hospitality.
