The club year opens with the Patio Party and runs through the holidays. In between: golf and racquets competition, family programming, teen nights, senior gatherings and a dining calendar that gives members a reason to come in when nothing in particular is happening.
The 2026 calendar was built deliberately across member segments, so that a couple in their thirties, a family with three children, and a member of forty years each find something meant for them.

Visit three private clubs and you will notice a difference in the service that is hard to put your finger on. It usually comes down to one issue: whether the staff stay.
Brookside invests in its people directly. Each August the club holds a scholarship banquet for the young men and women who work here, and this year awarded thirty-one Brookside Scholarships along with the Donald Ross Scholarship, funded by the membership. Caddies are supported through the Evans Scholars Foundation, which sends them to college on full tuition and housing.
The result is a staff that comes back. People who worked here in college return years later. The server knows your drink. The bag room knows your clubs. The person at the front desk knows your children by name.
That is what the investment buys, and it is the part of club membership that is hardest to see on a tour and easiest to feel by the third visit.

Brookside runs Welcome Dinners specifically for new members. Joining a club where families have belonged for four generations can feel daunting from the outside. It is not meant to be, and the club works at making sure it is not.
